TriLift Treatment

TriLift™ is a non-invasive facial rejuvenation treatment designed to address age-related changes in both the skin and the underlying facial support system.

Unlike treatments that focus only on the skin surface, TriLift™ is positioned as a multi-layer approach that targets facial muscles, dermal quality, and structural support.

According to Lumenis, the platform combines Dynamic Muscle Stimulation (DMSt), TriPollar® radiofrequency, and RF-assisted microneedling to create a naturally lifted and more defined appearance without surgery or injectables.

TriLift™ is designed around three complementary treatment elements. DMSt uses electrical stimulation to activate selected facial muscle groups, particularly in areas such as the cheeks, jawline, and periocular region, with the aim of improving tone and facial definition. TriPollar® RF delivers focused radiofrequency energy into the dermal layer to stimulate collagen and elastin remodeling and to improve skin firmness and wrinkles.

The RF microneedling component is described by Lumenis as supporting skin tightening, textural refinement, and increased endogenous hyaluronic acid production. Together, these mechanisms are intended to address facial aging more comprehensively than a single-modality treatment.

TriLift™ may be considered in patients presenting with mild to moderate facial laxity, softening of the jawline, early descent of the midface, under-eye tissue laxity, reduced facial muscle tone, or early visible signs of aging.

It is generally positioned for patients seeking visible but natural-looking improvement while avoiding surgery and injectable-based approaches.

Treatment is performed using dedicated handpieces applied to the facial skin and treatment zones.

Depending on the protocol, the session may include muscle stimulation, radiofrequency skin treatment, and RF-assisted microneedling. Lumenis describes treatment times in the range of approximately 20 to 30 minutes for protocol-based sessions, although actual duration can vary according to the areas treated and the treatment plan established during consultation.

The procedure is generally performed in clinic and does not usually require surgical recovery.

Potential benefits include improved facial definition, better support of the cheek and jawline region, firmer skin, smoother texture, and a more rested, lifted appearance.

The platform is specifically marketed as a non-surgical treatment with no injections and no downtime, with visible improvement that can build progressively over a treatment course.

Before and After Care

Before TriLift™, the skin should be clinically assessed to confirm suitability. Patients should avoid treatment over areas with active infection, dermatitis, open lesions, or significant irritation.

If RF microneedling is included, topical actives such as retinoids, acids, or other potentially irritating skincare products may need to be paused temporarily before treatment, depending on skin sensitivity and physician guidance.

Skin should arrive clean and free of makeup, and any recent aesthetic procedures should be disclosed during consultation.

After treatment, mild transient redness, warmth, or localized sensitivity may occur. If microneedling is used, temporary dryness, pinpoint erythema, or mild textural roughness can also be expected for a short period.

Patients are generally advised to avoid intense heat exposure, vigorous exercise, and unnecessary skin irritation immediately after the session. Photoprotection and gentle skincare are recommended.

Specific aftercare is always adapted to the protocol used and the patient’s skin condition.

Risks and Side Effects

TriLift™ is non-invasive, but no aesthetic procedure is entirely risk-free. Possible temporary effects include erythema, warmth, mild swelling, sensitivity, and short-lived discomfort during muscle stimulation.

If RF-assisted microneedling is part of the protocol, there may also be transient dryness, pinpoint bleeding, crusting, or post-inflammatory pigment alteration in susceptible skin types. A medical consultation is therefore required to evaluate candidacy and select appropriate settings.

A prior consultation is mandatory to assess indication, skin quality, facial anatomy, treatment goals, and suitability for treatment.

The number of sessions and exact protocol depend on the individual clinical presentation. Pricing is determined after consultation.
