Laser hair removal works by emitting a concentrated beam of light that is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair. This light energy converts into heat, effectively damaging the hair follicle and inhibiting future hair growth. Over time, the treated hair sheds, leaving your skin smooth and hair-free. Since hair grows in different cycles, multiple sessions are required to capture all hair in the growth phase.
Thanks to our high-tech technology, we can safely and effectively treat various hair and skin types, including darker and tanned skin tones. Our advanced machines are designed to provide a comfortable experience with minimal discomfort.
Typically, 8–10 sessions are recommended, with each session scheduled every 4–6 weeks, depending on the technology used or your aesthetician’s recommendation. This timing allows the treatment to target hair in its active growth phase, ensuring the most effective results. Each session brings you closer to permanent hair reduction, with noticeable improvements after each visit
The duration of each session depends on the size of the area being treated and can be between 10 to 50 minutes.

For the best results and to ensure the safety of your skin, it’s essential to follow these preparation and aftercare steps before and after your laser hair removal treatment.

  1. Hydration: Drink about 1.5-2 liters of water on the day of the treatment to keep your skin hydrated and to promote healing.
  2. Avoid Tanning: Avoid tanning beds or intense UV light exposure (including direct sun) for at least three days before and after the treatment.
  3. No Sweating Activities: Refrain from showers, saunas, fitness workouts, or any activities that may cause sweating for up to 8 hours after-treatment to prevent skin irritation.
  4. Shave the Treatment Area: Shave the area one day before your appointment using a razor. However, avoid shaving areas with blonde or fine hair, and do not shave your face.
  5. No Hair Removal Methods: Do not pluck, epilate, use wax, or hair removal creams at least four weeks before the treatment. These methods remove the hair follicle, which is necessary for the laser to target.
  6. Limit Shaving Between Sessions: Do not shave the treated area too frequently between sessions. Shaving too often can irritate the skin and affect your results.
  7. No Creams or Lotions: Do not apply any creams, lotions, deodorants, or tanning creams on the treatment area before the session. Clean, dry skin is ideal for effective treatment.
  8. Avoid Anesthetic Creams: Do not apply any anesthetic or numbing creams before the treatment unless specifically advised by your laser technician.
  9. Gentle Skin Care: Avoid exfoliating, scrubbing, or using harsh products for at least 1 week before treatment.
  1. Hydration and Cooling: Continue drinking plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated. You can also apply aloe vera or a cooling gel to soothe the skin if it feels irritated or warm after the session.
  2. No Sun Exposure: Avoid direct sun exposure and use SPF 50+ sunscreen on the treated area if you need to be outside. This precaution should be taken for at least 1-day post-treatment to avoid hyperpigmentation or burns.
  3. No Hot Showers or Baths: Avoid hot baths, showers, or any high-temperature water in the treated area for 8 hours post-treatment. Stick to lukewarm water to prevent irritation.
  4. Gentle Skin Care: Avoid exfoliating, scrubbing, or using harsh products on the treated area for at least 48 hours. Let your skin heal naturally without additional irritation.

Laser hair removal is a safe and effective procedure for many individuals, but certain conditions and circumstances may make the treatment unsuitable. Please review the following contraindications and consult your aesthetician or healthcare provider if any of these apply to you:

  • Pregnancy : Laser hair removal is generally not recommended during pregnancy .
  • Active Infections or Open Wounds: If you have any active infections, cuts, or open wounds in the treatment area, it is best to wait until these have fully healed before undergoing laser treatment.
  • Photosensitivity: Individuals taking medications that increase sensitivity to light, such as certain antibiotics (tetracyclines) or acne treatments (isotretinoin), should avoid laser hair removal until they have completed their medication course.
  • Recent Tanning or Sunburn: Avoid laser hair removal if you have recently tanned or have sunburn in the treatment area, as this can increase the risk of burns or pigmentation changes.
  • Skin Disorders: If you have skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, or dermatitis in the treatment area, it is recommended to consult with a dermatologist before proceeding.
  • Severe Scarring or Keloid Formation: If you are prone to keloid scarring or have a history of severe scars, laser treatment may not be suitable as it can trigger scarring in some individuals.
  • Herpes or Cold Sores: If you are prone to cold sores (herpes simplex virus) near the treatment area, laser hair removal may cause an outbreak. Consult your doctor for preventive measures before treatment.
  • Tattooed Skin: Laser hair removal should not be performed over tattooed skin, as it can cause burns or pigment changes in the tattooed area.
  • Recent Laser or Chemical Treatments: If you have recently undergone chemical peels, microdermabrasion, or other laser treatments, wait at least 2-4 weeks before laser hair removal.
  • Autoimmune Diseases: Individuals with autoimmune disorders affecting the skin, such as lupus, should avoid laser hair removal unless approved by their healthcare provider.
